Starting to feel bad.
Not washed Piglet in a few weeks but people keep telling me how clean she looks and I’m looking at the brake dust on the front wheels and traffic film along the lower valences.
She does look great properly clean though.
One of the people was someone who’s car I used to look after before showing him how to do it and he’s so proud he now does his all the time with stuff I give him from the stuff I use.

I work with car slobs, people who wash their car once a year, or so, after winter to get the salt off. I feel bad because I know my car is dirty, but it still looks better than any other car in the lot. My car life sucks...

Ye’, I hate those people. I know it’s their car and their choice. I will clean a friend’s or colleagues car for free if they care about their car, the people who don’t care and say ‘it’s just a car, to get from A to B’ and then ask me to do theirs, I simply refuse point blank.
The weather has been all over the place of late and I’ve now got my own little TV/computer office set up in my room so I can sit and watch TV, mooch about on the internet, drink Guinness and eat Chinese food while lazing about (got a new reclining office chair with footrest coming Friday) on my free time away from work.

Cheers. It’s not the colour we ordered but it looks better than the one we chose so kept it. The metallic flake is really small so looks like a solid colour in low light, and all sorts of shades of blue in daylight an one bright sunny days.
I’ve never known a colour get so much appreciation.

I’m the same way. One guy at work, his daughter put a huge chip in the door of their new minivan. i told him to get the paint pen, i’d touch it up for him. That was a year ago....

I hear that. I have a chip pen with the right paint to lacquer ratio ready to go for a red Vauxhall. But after two years I’m just going to throw it out as they keep making excuses about getting it done. All they have to do is drop it off at my house for a couple of hours and then make a two minute walk to the city centre to go shopping for a while, they come into the city twice a week but still nope.

Depending on where you live, the winter salts can be really bad. I lived in Ontario. In winter I’d hose it down once a week, no matter go for a drive and it looks like you haven’t washed it in two months.

I need to paint pen my girlfriends focus. Any recommendations? In northern canada they put huge ass rocks on roads to help with tractions, and the car has got some deep scars that have rusted.

I got mine made up by someone on eBay.
60% paint, 40% lacquer. For chips the brush is useless as a cocktail stick is much better. You should be able to buy touch up pens in two parts from a dealer. Just take a plastic cup an mix up the required amount.
Of course you’ll have to remove the rust and apply a thin coat of primer first.
